About Me

Hello, my name is Timo Schauff and I’m a hobby game developer.

While studying computer science with a livelong passion for video games, I decide to spend my free time on learning the ins and outs of game development.

Starting with the Unity engine i got a good feel on the software developing processes of a video game, but while quickly reaching the limitations I started working with both the Unreal and CryEngine.

A good lesson to learn was to start off with small archivable projects. Even the smallest and simplest mechanics can be explored and be engaging for the user and also helps the developer to see many mechanics in a different perspective.

From then on I focused most of my efforts to the Unreal Engine 4 and started laying down longer living Projects.

The Combination of C++ and Graph based scripting in the form of Blueprints makes it easy for software developers to make game Entitys/Actors easily adjustable and usable for level design.
